Purpose

Faith that can’t be questioned is faith that can’t truly be known.

In my years attending Bible college, I often held strong theological positions with unwavering confidence—but little understanding. My convictions were more inherited than examined, more emotionally defended than biblically reasoned and more borrowed than owned. It wasn’t until my junior year that I began to seriously wrestle with these beliefs. I didn’t avoid opposing views because I was certain of the truth, but because I feared what those views might expose. In many ways, I preferred comfort over clarity and familiarity over honest testing.

That mindset began to unravel when I realized something essential: truth does not fear challenge—it invites it. If my beliefs were grounded in truth, they would endure scrutiny. If they were not, then letting them fall would not be loss, but liberation. Upon examination of my beliefs, though some I came to understand were false, many I only gripped tighter, strengthened by a clearer understanding and a deeper conviction. This realization led me to a place where I could finally embrace the difficult work of examining my beliefs with openness and sincerity, trusting that what is true will withstand honest questioning. That commitment is the foundation of this blog.

This blog exists to promote serious, thoughtful engagement with theology through the lens of Scripture and the framework of biblical philosophy.

I aim to help others experience the clarity and freedom that come from seeking truth—boldly, carefully, and without fear. I believe Scripture is not only authoritative and sufficient but also offers a coherent and compelling foundation for how we think. I examine doctrines and mindsets that deviate from God’s Word, measuring them not only by tradition, emotion, or cultural trends, but by the light of Scripture. Every belief must bow to the authority of Christ. Every thought must be taken captive. Through this blog, I want to equip believers to think critically and engage deeply—because faith that can’t be questioned is faith that can’t truly be known.
